Amunategui Barreau Associates conceived the Santiago Marriott complex per Marriott International design requirements as well as a local developer’s need for a mixed-use real estate speculative project. Because of client hotelier requirements, performance expectations of the developer, and the usual effect of the development of a project in its volume, the Santiago Marriott resort results as a complex of two office towers of 18 floors and a central tower 40 story, which was the tallest building in Chile until 2010. The office has been directly involved in the entire design process, in all approvals to Marriott International Corporation in the design development from concept drawings to construction documents, and overall coordination of professionals related to the project and construction supervision
